Gravity & the RR truck

In researching Wheels of Time next prototype, I've stumbled across this photograph of a 100-ton truck. Notice the truck is only connected by gravity and a rod (bolster pin) to the railroad carbody frame.

Wheels of Time is happy to announce a new series of N-scale 53'-6" Welded Fish Belly Flat Cars for General Service. Railroads include Great Northern, CP Rail, Milwaukee Road, New York Central, Southern Pacific (1953 and 1956 re-numbers), and Denver & Rio Grande Western.
