A photo break SP 3197

A photo break as we are getting ready for the NMRA Train Show and waiting for our shipment of N scale Bulkhead Flat Cars and Transit Motor Coaches! (Yes the shipment has just cleared U.S. Customs). Photo taken with my trusty Kodak Instantmatic camera during our country's Bicentennial Celebration at Fort Mason in S.F. Photo is S.P. EMD GP-40P-2 painted up fancy. These GP-40P-2s replaced the last Trainmasters in commute service. Enjoy.

South of the border railroading: CHP

Here is a production shot of Wheels of Time Ferrocarril Chihuahua al Pacífico (Chihuahua-Pacific Railway, or FCP) N scale Harriman Coach!  Release of our N scale Harriman coaches is looking like in early fall.
FCP connected NdeM, FC Del Pacifico and Southern Pacific (S.P.). It linked the city of Chihuahua with Ojinaga to the east; with Ciudad Juarez via La Junta to the north; with its port Topolobampo to the west at the Gulf of California. It's notable for the amazingly scenic trip over the continental divide and through the Copper Canyon. Their Harriman coaches were acquired second-hand from the S.P. and were used in second class service. In 1998, Ferromex took over the line. Enjoy!FCP

Wheels of Time N scale 53-6" Fishbelly Bulkhead Flat Cars and Transit Motor Coaches are currently being unloaded at the Port of Oakland. However, just received word that the U.S. Customs will be inspecting the container starting on Wed. (Aug 5th) of next week. This means a little bit of delay. Thank you for your patience in waiting for your orders!
