Extension ...Pre-Order Date for 2nd Run HO Piggy-Packers

Please spread the word.   We are extending the Pre-Order date for our 2nd Run of HO scale Piggy-Packers.  The new Pre-Order deadline is Feburary 19, 2014!

The 1st Run of HO scale Piggy-Packers are currently on a container ship "MOL Motivator."  It looks like shipping to all will be around Jan. 22nd, if no delays in transit.

For the intermodal fan @ heart . . .

We thought it might be fun for the intermodal fan-at-heart to know the where the load of Wheels of Time HO scale Piggy-Packers might be.  After being consolidated in a container, it's loaded on the Hyundai Merchant Marine container ship named "MOL MOTIVATOR."  The estimated arrival date at the Port of Oakland is around January 12, 2014. From there the container load of our HO scale Piggy-Packer will go through U.S. Customs; then to the freight forwarder; and then finally on to Wheels of Time for distribution to all of our customers.  You may see photos of this gigantic container ship by clicking here.  We will keep you posted once the HMM MOL MOTIVATOR gets underway.  Enjoy.

A photo diorama intermission . . .

This has nothing to do with Wheels of Time except that I enjoy building realistic models.  Since the lighting was perfect this morning, i set up a diorama with my scratched built delivery truck. The lift gate on this truck model can be positioned in the traveling up or loading down position.  BTW, these PMT-SP delivery trucks where a common sight in the '60s-70s.     Have an inspiring model RR photo you like to share?
