The humble tractor . . . Hyster!

For our HO and N scale fans - the Hyster Forklift Truck! These were familar equipment in lumber yards, warehouses, factories, and construction sites. The forklift is positionable to be glued as loading a railroad flatcar or flatbed truck or in the various down positions.

PS - Once model is washed and all the wax is removed, spray with primer. Then use Model Master Lacquer base "Chrysler Yellow" No. 28104 for a nice finished. Paint the tires, steering wheel, and seat black.

DRGW ex-Golden West PC&F boxcars!

Wheels of Time Pacific Car & Foundry Exterior Post Insulatd Boxcars -

These cars lettered DRGW . . . were originally ex-D&RGW cars refurbished and leased back by Greenbier to SP under the reporting marks of GVSR. After SP dissolved Golden West Service, it was repatriated back to SP under DRGW reporting marks. The UP kept their heritage reporting marks alive after their merged of SP.

Conrail PC&F!

Wheels of Time N scale Pacfic Car & Foundry Exterior Post Insulated Boxcars -

Conrail inherited a batched of 50-ft PC&F Exterior Post Insulated Boxcar from the Penn Central (PC). This was PC only purchase from PC&F. They were originally purchased for their Merchants Despatch Transportation (MDT) in 1968. MDT continued to operate as a subsidary under Conrail - the reason for lettering "Merchants Despatch Transportation Corporation Owner and Lessor"
